BD-6
BD-6 and KAL were my first RC(Remote Controlled) Animatronic droid! The Mouse Droid (MSE-6 Type) named KAL is controlled by a Mechanum Drive, allowing him to move in all directions and spin in place.
BD-6 is connected to the internal chassis through the top of KAL’s shell. Fully 3D printed, BD can be raised and lowered on his legs, move his head, eyes and ears. Controlled by a Kyber control board and an FrSky X20 transmitter.
Completed just in time for Wondercon 2024 BD and KAL will be attending many events this year. I plan on posting more explanation videos outlining his build process.

I designed these Side Pot Finger Loops for my FrSky X20 Transmitter. It allows me to loop my fingers while puppeting with the 3rd Axis Gimbles.
