This "8 Bit" documents my Star Trek Playmates Toys video productions

As a child of the 90's, Star Trek: The Next Generation represented a open frontier of possibility for humanity's future and space exploration. Being able to bring those adventures home through my Playmates Toys to create my own stories was a big part of my childhood.

In 1994 when I was 11, I made a short film with Picard, Riker, Data, The Enterprise D and the Bridge play-set. When I go back to watch this little boy before his voice drops, reading lines from his dot matrix printer and recording the voice over with a cold, it brings up strong memories which I attribute to who I am today.

I made this Star Trek film when I was 11 years old in 1994 using my Playmates toys and my willing family.

Later in 1999 I dragged my Jr. High friends into making another film over our spring break. Some people go to the beach or Disneyland for spring break, I make Star Trek shorts!
